In a ceremony today, Chancellor Dennis J. Shields announced a monumental gift of $10 million from Todd and Susan Johnson – the largest gift to support the university in history. Dr. Chris Underwood is working on a project, funded by the National Park Service, to expand fire history research in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
