Junior Scott McDermott has worked part-time at John Deere in a student position since 2021 while pursuing a mechanical engineering degree. The Chancellor Scholarship is a prestigious award given to a selected number of incoming freshmen. Current Chancellor Scholars represent all three colleges, and a quarter of them are involved in the Department of Performing and Visual Arts, finding creative outlets to express themselves.
