Callouts for the 2022 HTCP Training Season — PLEASE READ:

  • Registration will open on December 1st, 2021 for the 2022 HTCP Training Season, 3-year certification classes/recertification exams.
  • Due to COVID-19, the 2022 HTCP Training Season will be pivoting to an online platform for Level 1 Classes/Recertification Exams (except GRADINGTEC-I). Additionally, the Level 2 and GRADINGTEC-I Classes/Recertification Exams will be offered at a reduced capacity in-person.
  • Recertification may be obtained in one of the following ways:
    • Complete Recertification Exam:
      • Level 1 (GRADINGTEC-I) and Level 2 Recertification Exams (ATTS, HMA-MD, HMA-TPC, PCCTEC-II) ONLY OPTION will be offered at two comprehensive exam sites for completion of the written recertification exams in-person.
      • Level 1 Recertification Exams (AGGTEC-I, CST, HMA-IPT, NUCDENSITYTEC-I, PCCTEC-I, Profiler, TMS) will be offered online and proctored in Zoom.
        • There will be minimal openings at the two comprehensive exam sites to complete these recertification exams in a written format for those who prefer not to complete the exam online.
    • Complete Next Level Certification Course: Enroll and successfully complete the next level certification course. Note, if the higher certification is not maintained, it may affect lower certifications if they are due to expire.
      • Note, due to COVID-19 protocol the recertification exam option on the last day of class will not be offered.
  • If technician was ACT certified in 2021, s/he would need to complete the class offering in 2022 for 3-year certification.
    • Exception: 2nd term will be only be issued if proof of enrollment in a current two/four year civil Technology/Engineering or Building construction management program is submitted to HTCP at the time of ACT registration.
  • The 2022 HTCP season has additional COVID-19 guidelines and protocols for in-person classes to ensure everyone’s safety:
    • HTCP has taken enhanced health and safety measures for you, other technicians and our own HTCP staff. You must follow all posted instructions while attending one of the HTCP classes. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and individuals with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By registering for our HTCP classes, you voluntarily assume all risk related to exposures to COVID-19.
    • Masks must be worn at all times in the building/classroom/lab area. You may bring your own mask, HTCP will also provide disposable masks for each class/day. If masks are not worn, the technician will be removed from class and no refunds will be given. There will be no exceptions.
    • Hand sanitizer will be provided for each classroom/lab area.
    • In the laboratory, safety glasses and disposable gloves will continue to be available and strongly suggested to use during laboratory sessions. o In the laboratory, HTCP will provide disinfectant cleaning products (spray bottles) that will need to be used to clean equipment after one of the group members has used it. The new group member will also take precautionary measures to wipe down equipment before they use equipment as well.
