To register for a Highway Technician Certification Program 3-year certification course, exam, or Assistant Certified Technician course, please click "Login to HTCP Portal."

HTCP PORTAL 

The HTCP Portal allows technicians to review their HTCP contact record, register for classes/exams, view enrolled classes/exams sessions, view their individual certification records, change contact record information, and find registration receipts.

Callouts for the 2026 HTCP Training Season — PLEASE READ 

ACT Registration

  • 2025 ACT registrations are currently available for the calendar year.
  • 2026 ACT registrations will be available beginning January 2, 2026.

MCT Registration

  • 2025 MCT registrations are available thru the end of 2025 for those needing to certify for the first time or are needing to recertify in 2025.
  • 2026 MCT registrations will be available for registration on January 2, 2026, for those needing to obtain certification or recertify in 2026.

3-Year Certification Registration

  • Registration opens on October 1, 2025. Spots available on a first come, first serve basis. Plan accordingly.
  • Those needing to recertify must do so within the scheduled training season, January 5 thru June 19, 2026. Plan and register accordingly.
  • Note, per HTCP Policy certifications must be renewed prior to the expiration date; otherwise, the technician will be required to complete the class again at the full rate.
