FEPAC Accreditation
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville is a regionally accredited institution awarding baccalaureate and graduate degrees. In 2025, the Department of Criminal Justice and Forensic Investigation applied for accreditation for its Bachelor of Science in Forensic Investigation with the Forensic Science Education Programs Accreditation Commission with the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. Once accredited, our program is accountable to FEPAC, and anyone may contact FEPAC with concerns or complaints. Learn more information about FEPAC.
The Baccalaureate Degree in Criminal Justice is not pursuing accreditation for a variety of potential reasons. These include the content of the degree, the size of the program, or the program is accredited by a different specialized accreditor.
