Are you having a hard time identifying the healthier options on campus?  Are you trying to eat better but are not sure where to start?  

Look for the Mindful Bite logo to easily spot sensible food choices on campus.  

Our dietitian has identified menu items that are better for you based on these 

Mindful Bite Criteria: 

Entrees- (proteins, pizza, sandwiches, entree salads)

  • Less than 500 calories per serving
  • Less than 6 g of saturated fat
  • Less than 600 mg of sodium
  • Contains protein, fiber, and/or fruit or vegetable
  • Not deep fried

Sides- (includes soups, side salads, snacks, and desserts)

  • Less than 250 calories per serving
  • Less than 3 g of saturated fat
  • Less than 300 mg of sodium (600 mg for soup)
  • Contains protein, fiber, and/or fruit or vegetable
  • Not deep fried
