The University of Wisconsin-Platteville offers a wide variety of ensembles both large and small. The band program at UW-Platteville is dedicated to stimulating musical growth and providing a comprehensive education to prepare aspiring teachers and performers.
Opportunities are abundant for jazz studies at UW-Platteville. Jazz I, Pioneer Jazz Orchestra, the repertory big band, and four combos serve as classes for the study of jazz improvisation and styles.

Students interested in percussion studies at UW-Platteville will be given opportunities to study both pitched and non-pitched percussion instruments.
The theatre program offers the arts major with a theatre emphasis, various minors in theatre, and opportunities for all students on the UW-Platteville campus to participate in play production.
