Stay on top of your university finances by regularly reviewing the information under the Finances section of your PASS account. Check your UW-Platteville email regularly. All billing notifications are sent electronically.

Quick Actions for Students and Parents

  • Clear Your Inbox: Keep your student email clean so important billing alerts never bounce.
  • Grant PASS Access: Students can set up guest access in PASS so parents can view and pay bills directly. Learn more about Managing Guest User Access.
  • Forward Your Billing Notices: If a parent or guardian pays the bills, forward all notifications to them immediately.
  • Track Deadlines: Remember that YOU, the student, are responsible for ensuring all fees are paid on time.

Planning Your Semester Budget?

Keep these payment milestones in mind:

  • Fall and Spring: Pay at least 34% of your initial bill to avoid a $50 Administrative Assessment.
  • Summer and Winter: Pay your balance in full by the due date to avoid a $25 Administrative Assessment.
  • Ongoing: A 1% monthly finance charge applies to all unpaid balances from the previous bill.

We encourage you to print and reference our Billing and Payment Due Dates as you plan your semester. If you have any questions at all, contact the Cashier’s Office—we're happy to help!

AS A REMINDER: You must pay your prior term and current charges before you can register for the next semester.
