Undergraduate Research
Participating in undergraduate research is a great way for you to build a unique portfolio, skill set, and make the most of your college experience at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. If you are majoring in one of the science programs within the College of EMS (chemistry or microsystems and nanomaterials) you will be required to register for one credit of research as part of your degree.

Faculty associated with these programs maintain active, state-of-the-art laboratories, and many students choose to participate in research beyond the minimum requirements. If you complete undergraduate research projects, you will have the opportunity to present your findings on campus and also regionally or nationally.
