UW-Platteville requires all students to complete the UW System Placement Tests. The Placement Tests will be offered online this year.
UW-Platteville requires all students to complete the UW System Placement Tests in English and Math (Math A).
The World Languages (Spanish, German or French) exam is optional. You are encouraged to take the World Languages exam if you have studied that language in high school and will be continuing a study of a language or plan to pursue retroactive credit while you are a student at UW-Platteville.
Registration for UW System Placement Tests
Registration for the UW System Placement Tests is now available. The UW System Placement Testing fee of $45.00 will appear on your fall semester billing statement.
Use your campus username and password to log in and pre-register for the placement tests. Once you are pre-registered, you will receive an email from Meazure Learning with your exam login-in information.
Complete all tests at least two weeks before your advising appointment to ensure scores are received in time.
Your “To-Do list” in PASS will indicate if you need to take your placement tests for English or for math (Math A). If you have scores or credit that you believe will exempt you from testing, the to-do item will be removed when those scores are received by UW-Platteville.
Students who require accommodations for testing must have pre-approval by the UW System Placement Testing office before they pre-register for UW System Placement tests. Please visit the UW System Requesting Accommodations page for additional information.
