UW-Platteville requires all students to complete the UW-System Placement Exams in English and Math. The World Languages (Spanish, German or French) exam is optional. You should plan to take the World Languages exam if you will be continuing a study of a language or to pursue retroactive credit while you are a student at UW-Platteville. Placement Tests will be offered online.

Registration for UW-System Placement Exams is now available and can be found at https://exams.wisc.edu/placement/regionaltesting/information.php.

You will need to use your campus username and password to login and register for all the exams.

Once registered, you should receive an email from Scantron with your exam login-in information. Complete all exams at least 2 weeks prior to your advising appointment to ensure scores are received in time.

If you believe you may be exempt from taking the UW-System Placement Exams you must contact Academic Support Programs at 608.342.1081 or nse@uwplatt.edu to verify the exemption. Students are only exempt from exams with permission from Academic Support Programs staff.
