Alcohol violations on the University of Wisconsin-Platteville campus are one of the most common situations dealt with by the UW-Platteville Police Department. If you are under the age of 21 and are involved in anything that attracts the attention of a police officer, after drinking alcohol, you will most likely be arrested and issued a citation.

Wisconsin has an Absolute Sobriety statute that states that anyone under the age of 21 cannot have any alcohol in his/her blood when driving or operating a motor vehicle. If the driver's alcohol concentration is .08 or higher, the driver/operator will probably be arrested.
