Transfer Your Credits

Degree completion and transfer efficiency are highly valued at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. We take pride in our ability to move students toward graduation as quickly, effectively, and efficiently as possible. With that in mind, the College of BILSA has sought out numerous agreements to shorten your time to degree completion.

In some cases, you may wish to bring your courses, credits or earned degree from a different institution and apply it toward completing your UW-Platteville degree. These inbound transfers most often reduce or eliminate your general education requirements at UW-Platteville. Even better, there might be opportunities to transfer in major coursework as well. A full list of courses and programs that have been evaluated for acceptance at UW-Platteville is found on our Transfer Students page.

In other cases, you may wish to use post-baccalaureate coursework to complete the fourth year of your UW-Platteville bachelor’s degree. Biotechnology Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Madison College; Madison, Wisconsin The last semester of the fourth year of the Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at UW-Platteville can be earned by completing the semester-long intensive certificate at Madison College.
M.S. in Medical Biotechnology University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford; Rockford, Illinois UW-Platteville student completes three years of study toward the Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at UW-Platteville and the first year of the medical biotechnology coursework applies as the fourth year of coursework at UW-Platteville to complete the degree.
