Degree-bearing instructional activities ending at UW-Platteville Richland
In response to a directive from UW System President Jay Rothman, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville will be ceasing in-person degree-bearing instructional activities at the UW-Platteville Richland location, effective July 1, 2023. We understand this is a difficult decision, and we know this situation creates uncertainty. The university is committed to making the transition as positive as possible for our students, faculty and staff. Students may continue their education in the spring semester at UW-Platteville Richland, and after that we can help them continue at our Baraboo Sauk County or our Platteville location. We will also be developing individualized plans for the faculty and staff. Students, faculty, and staff impacted by the transition can direct their questions to transition@uwplatt.edu.
