Alumna Marissa Hoffmann earned her degree in business administration from UW-Platteville in 2012. Soon after, she launched her company, The Midwest Girl, in a mobile boutique and now, less than a decade later, she has a storefront in downtown Dubuque, Iowa, and nearly 30 retailers in eight states carrying her apparel.
