2024 Wisconsin Infrastructure Report Card
Join us for the fall Engineering Seminar Series as Zoey Meyers, ASCE Wisconsin Section, presents 2024 Wisconsin Infrastructure Report Card.
Positive economic growth hinges on the availability and capacity of underlying systems that must support it, namely our infrastructure. ASCE Wisconsin Infrastructure Report Card is a tool created to help residents, businesses, and policymakers understand the state of Wisconsin’s infrastructure. This seminar will cover a brief overview of the newly released 2024 Infrastructure Report Card for Wisconsin.
About the presenter
Zoey Meyers is a recent graduate of UW-Platteville and is currently a structural engineer at JT Engineering. Meyers has been actively involved with American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE) since college. She is one of the co-chairs of the report card and worked closely with a team of professionals to co-author the Report Card. She is also serving as a Director-At-Large in ASCE Wisconsin Section.
About the company
The ASCE Wisconsin Section was founded in 1923 and is a part of the greater ASCE which was founded in 1852 and is America’s oldest national engineering society. The Wisconsin Section is recognized by the Society as an active and prominent group, with 4 different Branches throughout the state. The Report Card for Wisconsin’s Infrastructure is one of the many projects that ASCE Wisconsin produces, with the most recent report card released in 2020.

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Engineering Seminar Series is offered on campus and via zoom. Free and open to the public, these presentations showcase the plan, design, construction, and maintenance of real-world engineering projects and how they change our community.
