Engineering Seminar Series
Presenters: Gary Blazek and Logan Hansen, Vierbicher

The Village of Viola was devastated in August 2018 when an excessive rain event caused the Kickapoo River to overtop and flood the community. The 2018 flood provided little warning or time to prepare, and residents and businesses were hit with devastating levels of water higher than they had ever previously experienced.

This seminar will discuss the losses suffered by the Village and the process underway for it to rebuild itself including planning, exploring funding opportunities, engineering, and construction.
Date: Tuesday, Mar. 7
Time: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
