Generous donors want to honor their connections to the University of Wisconsin-Platteville by providing scholarships for those studying history.
History majors and minors at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville are also eligible for a variety of university-wide scholarships, as well as scholarships offered through the College of Liberal Arts and Education.

Arthur & May Thompson Scholarship
You must be a rising junior or senior majoring in history and public policy. You must demonstrate outstanding qualities of character and leadership in service to others, and high academic achievement.
Dr. Helen Tierney Memorial Scholarship
Any student in history may qualify for this award.
James A. Wilgus Family Scholarship
This scholarship may be awarded to you as a rising junior or senior majoring in history or social sciences at UW-Platteville. You must have an outstanding academic record.
Thomas B. Lundeen Award
If you are a rising sophomore or junior history major, or comprehensive social science major with history emphasis, have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA, you may qualify. Financial need is not a factor.
