In an effort to educate our community about sexual violence and substance abuse, and to be compliant with federal requirements, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville has launched a mandatory online educational course for all new students.

This program provides universal education about sexual violence and substance abuse. You must complete this training to register for next semester's classes.

  • The course takes about an hour to complete.
  • An official invitation will be emailed to all new students.
  • The email will include instructions on how to complete the course.
  • There are no additional fees for this course.

If you get stuck in the program, here are some troubleshooting and technical requirements provided by Everfi:

  • Use the most current version of Chrome
  • Set your browser zoom to 100%. Use Ctrl + 0 to reset it.
  • Update your Flash player for Flash-enabled courses (https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html).
  • All browsers must have session cookies, and be SSL enabled.
  • Broadband or high-speed internet is required.

If your issues are not resolved, or if you have any other questions about the course, please contact the Prevention and Education Coordinator at preventioned@uwplatt.edu.
