Kathryn Weller

Kathryn is the Tutoring Services Program Manager within Student Advising and Academic Resources. In this role, she oversees Tutoring Services and the Writing Center at UW-Platteville and the Academic Success Center at UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County.

Kathryn served as Assistant Director of Academic Support Programs from August 2020 to January 2024. Previously, Kathryn was the Writing Center Coordinator from February 2016 until August 2020.

Kathryn also manages the Navigate Student app at UW-Platteville and oversees communications for the New Student Experience.

She has previously served as vice chair of Academic Staff Senate. 

Before joining UW-Platteville in February 2016, Kathryn taught College Writing at several community colleges in the Chicago area.

Kathryn has a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Missouri and a master's degree in Rhetoric and Composition from Michigan State University.
