About
Dr. Rasouli Ghahroudi is a scholar of international business and strategic management with a strong interdisciplinary background spanning academia, industry, and global research. He holds a PhD in Management (International Business) from the University of Tsukuba, Japan, and completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. His academic career spans roles at the University of Washington Bothell and the Institute for Management and Planning Studies, where he taught a wide range of management and marketing courses and supervised graduate research.
He also brings over a decade of industry experience in project management, international negotiations, business development, and strategic planning across sectors such as oil and gas, manufacturing, and scientific research. His scholarly work focuses on multinational enterprises, foreign market entry, product development, corporate governance, subsidiary longevity, and strategic adaptation in turbulent environments, complemented by a strong applied background that bridges research and practice.
