This year, the Continuing Education Institute’s extensive schedule of programs will all be virtual, but no less valuable, for its diverse audience of learners. Hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and its branch campuses in Baraboo Sauk County and Richland Center, learners will continue to receive the human connection and interaction they expect from CEI’s exceptional community and professional classes, now experienced from the convenience and safety of home.

With a broad array of classes covering a multitude of topics, the only difficulty this fall may be deciding which opportunities to select. Non-credit courses vary by subject and age range, but all promise meaningful development and a degree of fun! Topics include:

    • College and High School Test Preparation
    • Environmental and Outdoor Activities
    • Business, Finance, and Health
    • Food and Lifestyle
    • Arts and Hobbies
    • Personal Development
    • Fitness Education

CEI is also providing support for parents during these difficult times by offering a four-part Parenting Webinar Series. Together, the series covers:

  • Reaching the Academic Underachiever
  • Parenting Battles Session A
  • Parenting Battles Session B
  • Supporting Children and Adolescents Who Struggle with Anxiety

For those looking to take the next step in their career, the Continuing Education Institute has a plethora of programs to help every learner on their pathway to professional growth. Explore options like Professional Pathways, Corporate Training Center, Non-Credit Online Courses, and Childcare Credential programs. Each of these programs is available for those looking to enhance their careers without the time commitment of a full degree program. These offerings are 100% online, guaranteeing interested learners the flexibility needed for success.

CEI is privileged to be a local source for world-class education, professional development, and community programs for personal and professional growth. By connecting with CEI at the Platteville, Baraboo Sauk County, or Richland Center campuses, learners are supporting their local communities. CEI provides jobs, opportunities for youth, and aids local businesses through its programming.
