LAE Faculty Forum: It Skips a Generation

LAE's October Faculty Forum will feature It Skips a Generation: Parallels Between Baby-Boomer Converts and the Current Awakening Among College-Aged Adults, presented by Dr. Aharon Zorea, Professor of History. This forum examines the Baby Boomer generation, born during the 1940s and 1950s, and the widespread religious conversion movement that occurred during the 1960s and 1970s. Drawing on his research, Dr. Zorea will explore how many children of these Baby Boomers did not experience a similar wave of religious conversion. However, their grandchildren, many of whom were born in the 2000s, appear to be participating in a comparable religious awakening today.
