Working on summer research? Interested in pursuing graduate study? Looking to learn more about professionalizing?

Come join the Emerging Scholars Summer 2026 cohort and meet student researchers in a series of seven workshops centered around topics related to research and career development. Completing all seven workshops will grant students the Emerging Scholars Certificate in Research and Professional Excellence, which can be put on a resume or CV to show an additional professional development credential. 

Our sixth topic will provide information on how to apply for grant funding to help financially support research, supplies, and travel.
