LAE Faculty Forum: The State of Higher Education in the United States
The College of Liberal Arts and Education will present it's December Faculty Forum on Thursday, December 4 at 5:00 pm in Doudna 136. "The State of Higher Education in the United States: Crisis as Opportunity or Crisis as Crisis?" will feature a panel of UW-Platteville faculty, staff, alumni, and students.
Convened by Claudine Pied and Shan Sappleton of the Department of History and Social Sciences, panelists include Sean Shannon (Lecturer, Humanities), Carolyn Keller (Interim Dean, BILSA), Amanda Tucker (Professor, Humanities), Erika Brunson (Mineral Point School District), Lana Wiese '71 (business owner), and Somi Whitney (UW-Platteville student).
