Nohr Gallery Holiday Sale Submissions Due

Nohr Gallery Holiday Sale 2025

The Harry and Laura Nohr Gallery is excited to announce its call for submissions to the Nohr Gallery Holiday Sale. This year's holiday sale will take place on Dec. 2 and 3 at the Harry and Laura Nohr Gallery in Ullsvik Hall. All UW-Platteville students, faculty, staff and emeriti faculty and staff are welcome to submit their art and craft creations to sell to our UW-Platteville community.

Eligibility

• Participants must be a student, staff, faculty, or emeriti faculty or staff member of UW-Platteville
• Participants must be 18 years or older
• Works for sale must be an art or craft item
• The gallery retains a 15% commission on all sales

Submit Your Work

Those interested in submitting their creations to the Nohr Gallery Holiday Sale should email their interest to nohr_gallery@uwplatt.edu by Tuesday, Nov. 18. Please use your UW-Platteville email account to verify that you are a UW-Platteville student, staff, faculty or emeriti faculty or staff member.

Within your note of interest, please include:

• What item(s) you plan to sell
• An estimated quantity of each item(s) you plan to sell
• Estimated price points for each item(s)
• Include a photo of each item(s) that you plan to sell

Please note: All submitted work must comply with U.S. copyright law, including fair use guidelines. Artwork that includes copyright material without proper authorization or that does not meet fair use standards cannot be sold. Artists may be asked to provide documentation or clarification regarding source materials if concerns arise.

The Nohr Gallery Holiday Sale will not accept artwork created or significantly modified by using generative AI tools (e.g., image generators, text-to-image software). Any submission found to incorporate generative AI will be disqualified and removed from the sale, even if previously accepted. Artists are responsible for ensuring their work is entirely original and free from AI-generated content.
