(Past) Darmstadt - Wisconsin-Platteville Day: Sustainability and Resilience of Transportation Systems
On May 7, 2025, the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences (Bau und Umweltingenieurwesen studieren – Bau- und Umweltingenieurwesen) and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville (Civil & Environmental Engineering Department | UW-Platteville) will organize a joint conference with students, lecturers and academic staff for the ‘Darmstadt - Wisconsin-Platteville Day’. The conference theme will be Sustainability and Resilience of Transportation Systems. A total of 6 presentations from Germany and USA will be shared, covering the topic of complete street, intersection design, automated traffic operation, sustainable city, and infrastructure resilience.
