(Past) 'What Were You Wearing' Display

When survivors of sexual violence disclose their stories, they are often asked “What were you wearing?”, as if their clothing choice determines their consent. It does not. From this stemmed the What Were You Wearing Exhibit, which has been re-created around the world. The What Were You Wearing exhibit displays reconstructions of the clothing survivors were wearing when they were assaulted, along with a short narrative.

Drop by our display to hear more about others experiences, get connected to resources, and learn more about how you can support survivors
