(Past) Codger / Brat Softball Game
It is that time of year again. The annual Codger/Brat softball game. The codgers (faculty/staff) take on the brats (students) in a friendly game of softball.
When: Wednesday, April 24, starting at Noon with hot dogs and burgers from Hot Dog Avenue
Where: Lower patio out of the science building (gym if raining)
What is on the line: The codgers boast an undefeated 55-0 record.
Why: Because we do this every year.
As a side note, I heard some faculty talking at lunch the other day that they don’t think this batch of brats stands a chance. That they though this was going to be the easiest victory in years (the last few years were pretty easy). I encourage all the students to show up, even if you lose you still get hot dogs and hamburgers.
So bring a ball glove if you have one, a baseball cap if you need it, and bring a 110% enthusiasm (your going to need it).
Tip: You will want to intentionally walk Dr. Kalish. A few years ago, they hit 6 grand slams in one at bat while not ever stepping on the ball diamond.
Good luck and I look forward to seeing you at the game.
