(Past) Dairy Innovation Hub to host Dairy Summit
The Dairy Innovation Hub, which the state of Wisconsin is supporting to the tune of $7.8 million per year, harnesses research and development at UW–Madison, UW–Platteville and UW–River Falls campuses to keep Wisconsin’s $45.6 billion dairy community at the global forefront of producing nutritious dairy products in an economically, environmentally and socially sustainable manner.
The Dairy Innovation Hub will hold the fifth annual Dairy Summit conference on November 20 at Union South in Madison, WI.
The Summit features the Hub’s newest projects and is formatted for a general audience. For anyone unable to attend in person, there is a live virtual option. Sessions will also be recorded and posted to YouTube.
In addition to research presentations, there will be a session dedicated to on-farm implementation highlighting farmers and service providers using Hub research outcomes.
After lunch, guests will select from two tour options – Arlington Agricultural Research Station or UW-Madison, CALS campus research facilities. Door-to-door transportation is provided via coach buses returning to Union South by 4:30 p.m.
Hub events are free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required.
