Student mental health concerns have risen over the years and unfortunately, it’s not a matter of “if” a mental health crisis will occur, but “when.” In addition to supporting student mental health with preventative resources, institutions need to focus on equipping their faculty and staff with crisis and suicide prevention education and training.

In this roundtable discussion, we will address:

• Common concerns among faculty and staff
• Institutional preparedness for effective crisis response
• Crisis and suicide prevention training best practices
• Desired resources for supporting student mental health
