(Past) Congressional Candidate Open Forum Featuring Rebecca Cooke

PioneersVote and Platteville Voting Advocates invites students and the public to join us at the congressional candidate open forum to ask candidate Rebecca Cooke questions on topics and policy hosted at University of Wisconsin-Platteville at the Ullsvik Hall in the Harry and Laura Nohr Gallery.
 
If you wish to ask candidate question related to one or more topics make sure to write your name on signup sheet with volunteers at front entrance of the Nohr Gallery, the signup sheet will be given to forum moderator to call your name to ask your questions to the candidate at event.
 
PioneersVote and University of Wisconsin-Platteville does not endorse nor oppose any candidate.
 
Open Forum Topics:
 
-Economy: What specific policies or steps do you support to lower the cost of living, including making gas and groceries more affordable?
 
- Healthcare/Abortion: "What is your stance on reproductive rights, and how do you view recent abortion bans?
 
- Border/Immigration: How do you plan to address the ongoing challenges around immigration and securing the U.S. borders?
 
- Education: With tuition costs rising, what can be done to make education more affordable for students?
 
- Infrastructure: What actions will you take to improve road safety and infrastructure in our district and the nation?
 
- Energy: Do you support the development of nuclear energy as alternative energy? If not what other energy should we prioritize over nuclear power and why?
 
- Agriculture: Will you protect our local farmers right to repair their own equipment?
 
- Final Topic: What sets you apart from your opponent, and what can you offer that they cannot?
