Our event is aimed at emphasizing how interactions with dogs can promote emotional regulation, reduce anxiety, and enhance overall well-being, contributing to a positive campus environment conducive to learning. We can also discuss the psychological benefits of human-animal interactions, such as increased oxytocin levels and improved mood, which can support students' mental health and academic performance.

The purpose of this event is to encourage students to reflect on their own stress management strategies and consider incorporating regular self-care practices, including activities like spending time with animals, to maintain a healthy balance between academic demands and personal well-being. We believe that this experience can greatly benefit our community members by offering them a chance to relieve stress and enjoy the company of these wonderful animals.

This event will be put on by the Health and Human Performance Club.
