This ceremony explains the many aspects of SigEp and provides a glimpse into its ritual. This is a ceremony that will help the public gain a better understanding of what we stand for, what we do, and who we are. This ceremony is a step toward eliminating the ‘frat boy’ stereotype and to dispel the myth that all fraternities are the same. SigEp is different. This is actively displayed through the Burning Heart Ceremony.

Our Burning Heart Ceremony is currently the largest in the nation. We will be displaying the letters of SigEp within a heart on the Platte Mound M. We encourage our community to attend and grasp a better understanding of SigEp, and to have a moment to glance at the mystery that surrounds Greek Life.
