(Past) Neurodivergence Panel
This event consists of a panel presented by the Disability Access Center on Neurodivergence on our campus. It will be hosted on October 5th in the MSPC University South Room from 4:00 – 5:00 PM. The panel will consist of students and staff who will provide insight, education, and suggestions on how to make our campus more inclusive.
Neurodivergence refers to a difference in the way the brain processes information compared to the “typical” brain. Some examples include ADHD, Specific Learning Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, etc. This is a great opportunity to learn more about other people’s perspectives, experiences, and knowledge.
My hope is that you will learn something new about the diversity and complexity of the brain.
Diversity is necessary in order to succeed and enriches the world around us!
