(Past) Summer Coding Workshop: Cyber Defense
Summer Coding Camps at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville are a fun and engaging way to learn from computer science, cybersecurity, and software engineering experts. The camps are open to entering high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
Cyber Defense: Monday, August 7 through Friday, August 11
At the Cyber Defense workshop, you will learn key cybersecurity concepts through various hands-on activities such as capture-the-flag games. You will learn how hackers crack passwords and exploit vulnerabilities in various computer systems to steal valuable information, as well as various cybersecurity defense strategies including how to protect yourself, your computers, and your network.
