(Past) STEM Power! Animals + Medicine = Cool Careers
STEM Power! Animals + Medicine = Cool Careers will provide high school students in grades 9–12 an opportunity to learn about careers in which animals and medicine interact.
The workshops sessions may include:
- Utilization of dogs and horses in police work
- Equine chiropractic and acupuncture
- Animal prosthetics for small animals
- Guide dogs
- Nutrition
- Chemistry

Schedule
- 8:30–9 a.m. Check in
- 9–11:45 a.m. Workshop sessions
- Noon–1 p.m. Travel and lunch on main campus
- 1–4 p.m. Workshop sessions
Cost $100
- Cost covers snacks, lunch, and all workshop expense
