(Past) STEM Power! Animals + Medicine = Cool Careers

STEM Power! Animals + Medicine = Cool Careers will provide high school students in grades 9–12 an opportunity to learn about careers in which animals and medicine interact.

The workshops sessions may include:

  • Utilization of dogs and horses in police work
  • Equine chiropractic and acupuncture
  • Animal prosthetics for small animals
  • Guide dogs
  • Nutrition
  • Chemistry

Schedule

  • 8:30–9 a.m. Check in 
  • 9–11:45 a.m. Workshop sessions
  • Noon–1 p.m. Travel and lunch on main campus
  • 1–4 p.m. Workshop sessions

Cost $100

  • Cost covers snacks, lunch, and all workshop expense
  • Scholarships are available, please contact, camp coordinator, Ms. Katie Roth for details.
