(Past) Chainsaw Safety Course
The Reclamation, Environment, and Conservation (R.E.C.) club is sponsoring a chainsaw safety course Feb. 4&5. The course will provide Levels 1 and 2 Safety and Woods Worker (S.A.W.W.) certification and covers basic saw safety, maintenance, and precision felling. This is a hands-on course, and you will be using real chain saws on real trees! More information on the course can be found here: https://www.fsichainsawsafety.com/home
The class open to all and is free to students, but class size is limited to twelve. Priority will be given to those that have participated in at least one R.E.C. Club event in 2022. Please contact Kevin Dorsey-Knotter at dorseyknottek@uwplatt.edu if interested.
