(Past) Edward Vaillancourt Senior Vocal Rectial

Edward Vaillancourt III is a senior Music Education Major with an emphasis in Choral and General Music Education and minors in History Education and German. Originally from Wausau, Wisconsin, Edward graduated from Wausau West High School. Edward has studied voice under the guidance of Becky Demaree. He has been involved in many ensembles throughout his time here at UW-Platteville, including Concert Choir, University Singers, Singing Pioneers, Chamber Choir, Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Band, and Boomwhacker Ensemble. Outside of school, Edward works at Kwik Trip, and has also found a home in his work at Blue Note Music, the local music store, where he has learned much about instruments and has even repaired a clarinet under the guidance of Tim Durst. Edward also participated in Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, the Music Fraternity on campus, where he has served as Secretary for two semesters, Vice President, Music Director for three semesters and Ritual Chair for one semester. Through his involvement with Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Edward has worked with Sigma Alpha Iota to set up the American Music Recital multiple times.
