(Past) Vietnam Veterans Memorial Dedication
On Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville will dedicate a memorial to the remembrance of all past students who served in the Vietnam War, especially twelve who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Please join us as we honor these veterans and their families starting at 10 a.m. The dedication ceremony will be followed by a lunch and reception.
Because of the cold weather forecasted for Friday, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Dedication will be held inside Ullsvik Hall, beginning at 10 a.m. The only outdoor portions will be the posting of the colors, the unveiling of the memorial stone and the wreath placement. Those will be live streamed in Velzy Commons as well.
