(Past) TurnItIn for Liberal Arts, Business and Helping Professionals

Use Turnitin to empower students to do their best, original work

We have access to Turnitin in our Canvas courses. Turnitin is a text-matching application designed to educate students regarding appropriate citation and referencing techniques. Papers and other original work that students submit as part of a Canvas assignment are compared against an archive of Internet documents, Internet data, a repository of previously submitted papers, and a subscription repository of periodicals, journals, and publications.

If you would like to learn more about using Turnitin, Leann McArthur will be offering three introductory sessions on August 25th. The basics will be covered in each session, so even if you can’t attend the session that best fits your role, feel free to take advantage of a session that does fit your schedule. More information to register to Turnitin intro sessions can be found here
