(Past) Mindfulness and Well-being

Join Dr. Lynn Payne for an introduction to mindfulness! Lynn will guide you in becoming more present in your daily life and incorporating mindfulness to support your overall health and well-being. The benefits of achieving varying levels of mindfulness can help decrease anxiety and stress while improving your emotional, mental, and physical health. Lynn will help you recognize that being mindful is an ever-changing process rather than an end goal of achievement. In this class, we will explore the basics of mindfulness, develop an understanding of the difference between mindfulness and meditation, and recognize how mindfulness techniques can be valuable in improving your quality of life. Wednesdays, Feb. 9th and Feb. 16th, 6-8 pm.
