(Past) ASCE Concrete Canoe Competition

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Concrete Canoe Competition is an international competition that will be coming to Platteville in 2021! This event consists of 25 teams competing in multiple categories including aesthetic display, presentations, and races. These concrete canoes range from 18 to 25 feet long and weigh from 75 to 800 pounds. This is the first time the University of Wisconsin - Platteville will be the host for this competition. This is an amazing opportunity for the University of Wisconsin - Platteville's student chapter of ASCE, the University of Wisconsin - Platteville, the City of Platteville, Southwest Wisconsin, and the tri-state area.
