(Past) Early Childhood Seminar

Join us for this live, interactive, virtual version of the annual Early Childhood Seminar.

Session A: 8–11 a.m. Music and Movement to Reach and Teach Young Children with Miss Carole- Get ready to sing, move, and learn through music! Miss Carole will share songs and movements that engage young children. In this interactive Zoom event, Miss Carole will answer your questions and lead hands-on lessons, including how to make instruments and flannel board visuals that grab attention. Can you sing-a-book? Learn to pair books with music that extend physical skills AND cover curricular content. You'll come away inspired, with a plethora of new play-time activities to use with your young learners. Cost $25

Session B: Noon–3 p.m. Nature-Based Early Learning Activities That Engage with Matt Flower- In this discussion, you'll learn the many benefits of nature-based activities for young children, and how you can help guide children's learning through experiences with the world around them. Matt Flower will demonstrate fun and dynamic approaches to introducing kids to the outdoors and provide techniques and templates for designing your own nature-based learning activities. You'll come away with practical ideas for including nature-based early childhood experiences in your teaching practice or with your own children. Cost $25

Save $10 when you sign up for both sessions! As an added b onus, when you register for both sessions of the seminar, you will receive a free curriculum packet in the mail, along with your 6-hour continuing education unit (.6 CEU) certificate.

This seminar is OPEN to all those who work with children! Early childhood educators, childcare specialists, parents, guardians, grandparents; are all invited to join in. We hope to "see" you soon (even if it's virtually)!
