(Past) Crip Camp Virtual Screening
July 26, 2020 marked the 30th anniversary of the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). https://adata.org/learn-about-ada Services for Students With Disabilities (SSWD) will host a screening and discussion of the Netflix film “Crip Camp” which follows a revolution born out of a ramshackle summer camp for individuals with disabilities. The documentary tells the story of how these teens became revolutionary activists in the Woodstock era and imagined a future that included those with disabilities in community and culture.
