(Past) College Essay Writing
This is program of the UW-Platteville Continuing Education Institute's Virtual Summer Youth Offerings, "Re-Inventing Summer".
High school students will have the opportunity to write their college admissions essay and receive direct feedback. Their essay will be ready to submit to the school of their choice by the end of the course. Class time will include one initial live class meeting that will review past essay samples, how to structure an essay, and possible ideas to write about. Students will then be able to select three, 30-minute follow-up appointments to review various drafts of their essay. First day of class (Monday, August 3, 2020) is the only scheduled live class. Students will be able to select appointments thereafter. High School Students | Various days and times available |
