Chamber Choir, UW-Platteville's premiere, mixed choral ensemble, is conducted by Dr. Bob Demaree. The ensemble tours each year in the fall and performs demanding repertoire showcasing a panoply of historical genres and styles. University Singers is a mixed choir of approximately 50 voices conducted by Stephanie Klockow. The ensemble performs works from diverse areas of the world including all musical periods, and voice building and musicianship are primary goals in each rehearsal. University Singers tours regularly. Love weaves a tangled web in this iconic fairy tale by William Shakespeare. Hermia and her beloved Lysander flee into the forest to avoid Hermia’s arranged marriage to Demetrius. They are pursued by Demetrius himself, along with Helena, who is, in turn, in love with Demetrius. In that same forest, Oberon and Titania – king and queen of the fairies – are having a quarrel of their own. And when Oberon enlists the help of the mischievous Puck, aka Robin Goodfellow, to throw some magic into the mix, everyone - including a hilarious group amateur actors “the rude mechanicals” led by Nick Bottom – gets caught up in the spell. - All sales for other events are subject to the refund policy of the sponsor organization.
- A $30 service fee will be charged for checks returned for non-sufficient funds.
- All tickets must be paid for at the time of purchase.
- The University Box Office accepts cash and checks, plus American Express, Android Pay, Apple Pay, Discover, MasterCard, and VISA.
- A $2.00 per ticket transaction fee is applied to all purchases.
- Tickets purchased prior to an event may be picked up in advance at the MPSC desk or starting 1 hour prior to event time at the ticket booth in the location of the event. Physical tickets can be mailed to you for an additional $2.00 mailing fee. Print-at-home tickets are sent to the email on the order.
