Biology Club

Membership is open to students of any major who are interested in biology. If you wish to join the UW-Platteville Biology Club just come to meetings. Times are posted in Boebel Hall.

Each semester the biology club sponsors trips with a focus on fun, fellowship, and biology. They might include Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison, Brookfield Zoo and the Field Museum of Natural History, both in Chicago. In addition to field trips, invited speakers, including current biology students, present research seminars, share information on internships, careers, and many other topics.  The Biology Club is also regularly involved in educational outreach to area schools.

Don't pass on this excellent opportunity to engage with other biology students and expand your horizons in the world of biology!

Society of Pre-Health Students

The UW-Platteville Society of Pre-Health Students is devotes itself to helping students explore and pursue careers in health care. It encourages volunteering within the community, nationally and internationally. Members also visit and tour medical universities to learn what it takes to become a physical therapist, occupational therapist, physician assistant, doctor of osteopathic medicine, medical doctor, or other member of the health care services.
