Project Management Certificates

The Certificates

Advance in your project management related career with a certificate in project management.

These certificates are separate from the Master of Science in Project Management degree program, but credit earned may be applied toward the completion of the degree. Completion of all courses must be taken at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and under the direction of UW-Platteville faculty. Transfer courses and course substitutions will not be allowed.

The Requirements

  • Achieve a minimum grade of "C" in each course
  • Complete the program with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Request a certificate from the Distance Learning Center within one year upon completion

Project Management

This certificate addresses the various process groups and knowledge areas of A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®), providing many of the competencies needed to prepare for the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification exam

Advanced Project Management

Deepen your expertise with advanced project management skills and knowledge that can be applied to projects in the workplace.

Some courses have pre-requisites that may be waived for certified Project Management Professionals.

Certificate for clarke university mba students

Advanced Project Management

Available only to Clarke University MBA students, this certificate is an ideal way to leverage Clarke's graduate degree with an additional skill set in the essential field of project management.

Completion of 18 credits in the Clarke MBA program are required before you can complete this certificate. For more information, contact a Clarke University academic advisor or Certificate Agreement with Clarke University.
