Podiatry is the area of medicine concerned with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders affecting the human foot and ankle. Our program is designed to meet admission requirements for entrance into a School of Podiatric Medicine. Most students are admitted to a podiatry school after completion of a bachelor’s degree although only 90 credits are required. The Doctor of Podiatric Medicine will take another four years of school. This is followed by a three-year Podiatric Medical and Surgical Residency.
