Dr. Kory G Wein

Dr. Wein is a professor of English in the Humanities Department.  His specialities are professional writing, 19th-century British literature, narrative theory, and detective fiction.  Dr. Wein has held several leadership positions on campus, including Humanities Department Chair, Executive Director of the Confucius Institute, Associate Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Education (2010-2019), and Interim Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Education (2020-2022).  A former Wisconsin Teaching Fellow, Dr. Wein has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the Outstanding Service Award, Teamwork Award (three times), and Teaching Award.
