Why I love teaching
I have always wanted to be a teacher, even before I started kindergarten. Almost everyone in my family taught—grandparents, aunts, uncles, and my mother—and when I was little, I do not think I even knew that other professions existed. When I started school, my desire to teach only increased. School was so much fun that when I got home in the afternoon, I would play school with my friends and my dolls. I thought summers were boring and never understood why my friends complained about the start of the school year. I could not wait to get back to school and start learning! As a teacher, I hope to help instill a similar love of learning in my students. I love watching children learn new skills and discover the world around them!
